What’s Changed on the Updated 2023 Le Bistro Menu?

The prices, mainly! Not surprisingly, prices have gone up on everything. Here are some examples of how much:

  • Steak Tartare au Couteau +27%
  • Salad d’Endive +17%
  • Napoleon de Legumes (vegetarian entree) +13%
  • Coq Au Vin (chicken entree) +12%
  • Most Desserts +33%
  • Espresso +32%

You’ll also note that while the à la carte price for Filet de Boeuf Rossini increased from $45 to $49, there is also the addition of a $10 dining package supplement. This is one of the most popular items on the menu and the supplement will be upsetting to some.

One other significant change: Cote de Veau Roti (veal chop) has been changed to Cote de Porc Roti (pork chop) and the price has dropped from to $42 to $35 to reflect the new cut of meat.

Change is inevitable and prices go up. As much as we hate it sometimes! Still, we cruise on! And with that…

Class Dismissed!

Homework (10 points): Check out the updated Cagney’s menu and be sure to share your thoughts on the updated menus to the comments.
